In 2011 as well, Alberto Toso Fei has given his contribution to what is known as the Venetian happening, the Carnival, collaborating with the Venezia Marketing & Eventi company, devising two special dramatized itineraries: actors in period costumes from the Pantakin Company would lead groups of people through the ever magical and secluded Venice, discovering her old secrets.
Why does Ca’ Soranzo have a hole in its façade with an angel guarding it? How could Elena Priuli’s lovers flee without her powerful attorney husband noticing it? Who is the spectre dwelling inside the well in Corte Lucatello? What is the hidden secret that led to the Rialto Bridge construction? While listening to the answers to these questions, guests were led around in a real itinerant drama unveiling many a mistery and anecdote belonging to evocative and less known corners in town.
During the whole Carnival, planned tours took place three times a day. “Angels and demons. Love and seduction” went from Piazza San Marco to Campo San Giovanni e Paolo. “Ghosts and mysterious murders. Secrets and clandestine lovers” started as well from Piazza San Marco proceding to Corte del Remer following the banks of Canal Grande with Rialto in sight.
