In early 2011, a large working group gathered, and led by the entrepreneur Gianluca Orazio, architect and designer Simona Marta Favrin, and glass master Nicola Moretti gave birth to the project "Il Mostro della Laguna". Their creativity realized a huge fountain sculpture of Murano glass inspired by a Venetian legend rediscovered and retold by Alberto Toso Fei.
The "Monster", initially exhibited at Cavallino farm, left for an exhibition tour that will take it to Fiera dell'Alto Adriatico at Caorle, to Venice, Milan, Como, Murano Island, Moscow, Berlin and Madrid to end in Istanbul, where the local municipality has arranged for its permanent placement in the historical Cisterna of the city.
