Ten legends for children written by Alberto Toso Fei and illustrated by the talented Anna Forlati are found in “Venetian Legends — a project for young readers”, a book produced as just one of the projects promoted by the Fondazione Radio Magica. The entire cover price of 12 euro will go towards funding the development of free books, available in audio, video LIS and other formats for children with and without special educational needs.
Stories include the legend of the bell-ringer who sold his skeleton, the crusader without honor, the fisherman who married a siren, and the monster of the Punta della Dogana—a book of fairy tales from the lagoon, illustrated to enchant and carry away the imagination.
The book, also available in English, may be ordered by writing to Elena Rocco (email@example.com), Segretario Generale Fondazione Radio Magica Onlus. Purchases may be made via bank transfer online by indicating “Donation—Venetian Legends book” and the edition, either Italian or English. Purchases outside Venice or Mestre will require additional postage.
